Moriel Cohen, Esq., CFLS

Moriel is certified as a specialist in Family Law by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization and practices exclusively in family law. Moriel approaches her cases with client-centered focus with the goal of devising strategies tailored to the unique needs of her clients. For over 11 years, Moriel has skillfully handled cases involving high conflict custody disputes and complex financial issues. Moriel is committed to integrity and civility in the practice of law and prides herself on her no-nonsense approach in settling cases.

Education

Moriel received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California San Diego in 2002 and her law degree from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2005

Experience

Prior to exclusively practicing family law practice in 2011, Moriel represented parents in Juvenile Court proceedings as a court appointed attorney with the alternate public defender. She has practiced family law exclusively since 2011, in several multi-county family law firms prior to establishing her own practice.

When not practicing law, Moriel enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, practicing yoga and spinning on her Peloton bike.
